Overview
The Product Sales Specialist is a key role responsible for driving the adoption, utilization, and sales of Drug Coated Balloons (DCB) and other products, in particular SELUTION SLR™, within assigned territories. This individual will act as the product expert, providing technical and clinical support to healthcare professionals, collaborating with sales teams to achieve revenue targets, and ensuring that the organization's portfolio is positioned as the standard of care in peripheral and/or coronary interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical and Technical Support

• Serve as the primary resource for technical expertise on Cordis products, with a focus on DCB technology.
• Provide in-field support to interventionalists, cardiologists, angiologists and cathlab teams, ensuring optimal product usage.
• Educate healthcare providers on the clinical benefits and proper application of SELUTION SLR™ through presentations, case observations, and hands-on training.
• Implement Training and Education strategy in the region.
• Stay informed on the latest clinical evidence, guidelines, and competitive landscape to address customer questions confidently.

Sales Support

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities, develop strategies and execute plans to achieve sales objectives and provide insights that align with customer needs and market demands.
• Provide Trainings on products and clinical data for sales team.
• Assist in product demonstrations at customer sites.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, and decision-makers.
• Participate in workshops, symposia, and conferences to promote DCB technology and build brand awareness.
• Act as a liaison between the clinical, marketing, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of objectives.

Market Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory, targeting accounts and clinicians not currently utilizing SELUTION SLR™.
• Gather feedback from the field to inform product development, marketing strategies, and competitive positioning.
• Monitor market trends, reimbursement changes, and competitor activity, reporting findings to relevant teams.

Klinische und technische Unterstützung

• Fungiert als primäre Anlaufstelle für technisches Fachwissen zu Cordis-Produkten, mit Schwerpunkt auf der DCB-Technologie.
• Unterstützt interventionelle Gefäßmediziner, Kardiologen, Angiologen und Katheterlaborteams vor Ort, um eine optimale Produktanwendung und sicherzustellen und Umsatzwachstum zu fördern.
• Klärt medizinisches Fachpersonal, Ärzte und externe Stakeholder durch Präsentationen, Fallbeobachtungen und praktische Schulungen über die klinischen Vorteile und die richtige Anwendung von SELUTION SLR™ auf.
• Umsetzung der Schulungs- und Weiterbildungsstrategie in der Region.
• Hält sich über die neuesten klinischen Erkenntnisse, Leitlinien und das Wettbewerbsumfeld auf dem Laufenden, um Kunden bestmöglich zu informieren.

Vertriebsunterstützung

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vertriebsteam, um Chancen zu identifizieren, Strategien zu entwickeln und Pläne zur Erreichung der Vertriebsziele umzusetzen sowie Erkenntnisse zu liefern, die auf Kundenbedürfnisse und Marktanforderungen abgestimmt sind.
• Durchführung von Schulungen zu Produkten und klinischen Daten für interne Teams.
• Unterstützung bei Produktvorführungen bei Kunden vor Ort.
• Aufbau und Pflege enger Beziehungen zu wichtigen Meinungsführern (KOLs), Ärzten und Entscheidungsträgern.
• Teilnahme an Workshops, Symposien und Konferenzen zur Förderung der DCB-Technologie und zum Ausbau der Markenbekanntheit und Marktpräsenz.
• Funktion als Schnittstelle zwischen den Teams aus den Bereichen Klinik, Marketing und Vertrieb, um eine einheitliche Kommunikation und die Abstimmung der Ziele sicherzustellen.

Marktentwicklung

• Identifizieren und Erschließen neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten innerhalb des Gebiets. Ansprechen von Kunden, die SELUTION SLR™ derzeit nicht nutzen.
• Generierung von Feedback aus der Praxis, um die Produktentwicklung, Marketingstrategien und die Wettbewerbspositionierung zu beeinflussen.
• Beobachten von Markttrends, Änderungen bei der Kostenerstattung und Aktivitäten der Wettbewerber Berichten der Ergebnisse an die zuständigen Teams.

Qualifications & Education

•  Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in healthcare (e.g., nursing, radiology, or cardiovascular technology) are a plus.
• Business English required
  
  
  

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical, technical, or sales support role within the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Proven experience supporting products in a cathlab or operating room setting is an advantage.

Qualifikationen & Ausbildung

• Bachelor-Abschluss oder höher in Gesundheitswirtschaft, Biowissenschaften, Biomedizintechnik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet.
• Aufbaustudiengänge oder Zertifizierungen im Gesundheitswesen (z. B. Krankenpflege, Radiologie oder Herz-Kreislauf-Technologie) sind von Vorteil.
• Business-Englisch erforderlich

Erfahrung

• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in einer klinischen, technischen oder vertriebsunterstützenden Funktion in der Medizinprodukte- oder Gesundheitsbranche.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in interventioneller Kardiologie, Gefäßchirurgie oder verwandten Bereichen sind sehr wünschenswert.
• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Produktbetreuung im Katheterlabor oder im Operationssaal ist von Vorteil.
